Lost Internet from a virus

I have same problem. Spoke to BALASUBRAMANIAN yesterday who advised a Firewall problem. Followed all instructions in email sent. Problem still unsolved.  If I turn AVG Internet Security OFF I can connect to Internet, turn it back on and no Internet :frowning:

If you already tried referring to http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Restore-Internet-connectivity without success please try reinstall AVG.

Well AVG says that it isolated the virus but I can't get a connection to the internet so I'm still broke.

Last week I got a virus on my Laptop and somehow it killed my internet connectivity.  I've tried all the directions on the "Restore Internet Connectivity" that technical support sent me and it still doesn't work.  I have tried both wireless and ethernet cable with no luck.  My wife's laptop and all our phones and tablets are working fine on the router so I know my internet is still good.  AVG says it has cleaned the virus but I'm still not connected.  Any more suggestions>
