Lost my document files

Just bought AVG tune up this morning, everything downloaded fine and ran the file, completed all the tune up requirements, then went to open some of my files but a lot of them have disappeared, can anyone offer any help

We are sorry to know that you have lost the files after running the AVG PC TuneUp.
Did you run the "Duplicate Finder" feature of PC TuneUp and deleted the files?
