Hello Casey,
Thank you for reaching AVG support channel. We sincerely apologize for the distress caused by the deletion of your photos during a Quick Clean performed by AVG. We understand how valuable these memories are to you, and we empathize with your frustration.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to restore items that are deleted during a Quick Clean. We recommend using caution when using this feature and reviewing the items selected for deletion under Files. Here are some steps you can take to prevent the unintentional deletion of important files in the future:
1. Untick any item types that you do not want AVG to process when you run the Quick Clean.
2. Tap the down arrow next to an item type to view specific items on your device.
3. Untick specific items to ensure they will not be processed when you run the Quick Clean.
While we understand that this may not resolve the immediate issue, we hope these steps will help prevent similar incidents in the future. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We're here to assist you in any way we can.

But I've read on other threads here where some people have got their stuff back from help from your AVG team. Is there ANYWAY or something to try to get my stuff back?
Hi everyone. My AVG recently did a quick clean and I lost so much, photos, files etc. I've read how this has happened to others and they had some success retrieving the deleted things. Where do I start? I now fully understand why backup is so important. Please help

Thank you for writing back to us. We would like to inform you that if you have lost photos and files from AVG Vault, we have option to recover it back. but, as you have removed the data during the scan, we do not have option to restore it. Hope you understand it. If you have any clarification, please do let us know.
