Hello Mike,

I apologize for the inconvenience. Are you saying that AVG scan stuck at some time? Can you please share the screenshot to check and assist further?

Mike, To take a screenshot in MAC, please follow the below instructions : 1. To capture the entire screen, press Command-Shift-3. 2. To copy the entire screen, press Command-Control-Shift-3. The screen shot will be placed on your clipboard for you to paste into another program like PowerPoint, Word, Photoshop, etc.
For your info, just in case that you are unaware, you can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

Hi, After doing a full scan on my mac computer I then checked the quarantine to protect these files. an AVG box came up asking to make changes. I put in my password and the AVG box gave a little shake and nothing happened.I waited a long time but still a stale mate. I would value any help on this matter,

Hi Bhuvaneswar,
AVG does completes the scan but the problem is when AVG box came up asking to make changes I enter my password the Box gives a little shake and nothing happens. I have checked my password and it's working as I write to you. When I sent you the screen shot via my email  it has rejected it saying it does not recognise my email properly ?

Mike, when you make any changes on your MAC device it will ask you to enter your computer username and password. So to check the exact message in the password message and in the quarantine, please share the screenshot http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-create-a-screenshot to check and assist further.
