Mac has updated and I gave permissions as warned but VPN prevents Mac working fully

A couple of weeks ago I was warned when my Mac next updated AVG would not work with it unless I gave full disk permissions. Which I did. This morning my Mac updated but AVG VPN has to be turned off for web access! Otherwise I have too many connections - or some such that I don't understand!!!!

Greetings, thanks for that. I tried connecting to Glasgow and all seemed well for a second - then Dropbox became unusable, BBC Sounds dropped out and nothing on Chrome would refresh. In short, nothing will connect if I try to do it through VPN. This is the note I getUser-added image
