Sorry about delayed response. Have run MacScanner a further 4 times. Twice as above it ran for about 1 1/2 minutes and read around 1k files and twice it ran for around 1 1/2 hours and read around 750k files ! So the problem is intermittent ? Attached is report for abreviated scan

We are sorry to hear that. Could you please check the scan settings, if any particular folder or location is alone set to scan? Please change the scan settings from the AVG program and check if that fix the issue.

When running “Mac Scanner” using AVG anti virus (17.1) on MacOs Sierra 10.12.4, only about 1,000 files in /.DocumentRevisions-V100/ folder seem to be scanned. Nothing in preferences seem to affect this ?
Have unistalled and reinstalled AVG AntiVirus (twice now), rebooted Mac and run the MacScanner again. Ran for little over a minute and scanned just 1056 files ( Under normal circumstances, in excess of 750 k files are scanned taking around 1 to 1.5 hours ). Problem still exists.
