i recently intstalled AVG antivirus on my mac.
I cannot delete it on my applications. It gives me a message saying 'You can't open the application "AVGAntivirus.app" because it is damaged or incomplete.' I cannot reinstall the antivirus due to that blocking another clean intstallation.
I cannot delete it using PC Tuneup either. Both the antivirus and tuneup are formatted for the mac as well.
I need this to delete so that i can have antivirus protection.

It seems to not be working still. The uninstallment ran the first time and it rebooted my mac and I checked to see if it worked. It got rid of some old stuff im sure. But when I tried to download the free version of antivirus again it would not install as the old broken file was still there. The uninstallment application you sent me does not recognize that there is a broken file for some reason.
Can you please send the tool again through my email I still do not see it. Sorry about that. Thank you for your assistance up to this point
Based on this context, I don't believe AVG AntiVirus is installed on your computer, and that you may have mistakenly thought this kext icon was an indication of an installed program.
I suggest installing AVG AntiVirus, and if you receive any install error notification, to share it with me.

Yes, i do have a paid subscription for 10 devices that should be expiring October 29
