MacOS:Spigot-O [Adw] cannot delete or quarantine

Alan,

I apologize for that. However, when I submitted the question the first time, I did not see it in the question section. Then when I went to look at the submission page again I notice a box that needed to be checked stating I was not a computer, so I assumed my question did not go through because I had not checked the box and therefore resubmitted my question the second time. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thank you

after doing a scan of my iMac AVG found 7 issues all of which i was able to quarantine and delete except one. MacOS:Spigot-O [Adw] could not be moved to quarantine and i cannot find the file to manually delete it. AVG software is saying it is in private>var>db>uuidtext>EC…ETC but when i search for MacOS:Spigot… or private>var>db… etc nothing comes up. i cannot find the folder or file. can anyone help?

Patrick, Also in future please try to keep the whole conversation in one question/thread to speed up any resolution.
