I understand the inconvenience caused. You can setup AVG Internet Security Schedule scan, click here for the instruction. We also have an option for AVG PC TuneUp automatic maintenance (Open AVG PC TuneUp > click on settings button on the top right corner of the Window > automatic maintenance).
Note: You computer should be turned on at the time of the Schedule scan, or else the Schedule scan will be skipped for the day.
Regarding Restore point in AVG PC TuneUp : We do not have option to create System restore point using AVG PC TuneUp. However, we can restore the AVG PC TuneUp changes (Open AVG PC TuneUp > Rescue Center > Undo > restore).

How do I configure the new AVG Internet security and AVG PC Tune up to do a scheduled daily or two daily clean up. My old AVG's and Tune Up's could easily be tasked to do automatic maintainance by I cannot find how this can be done. Also I cannot get my AVG PC TuneUp to do restore points, keep on getting errors. I also cannot make Win !0 x68 create restore points as it cannot find my C drive !. Grateful for any advice, thank you
