Malicious code detected

I have been using the LinkedIn site for quite a while, even using it earlier in the day. Now I am receiving a malicious code detected message and the site is blocked. Since it is accessed through their secure server, I think this is an AVG classification error. How can I verify it is not an actual threat and restore access?  Thanks!

If AVG is blocking LinkedIn, it is possible that AVG is incorrectly detecting a legitimate website as malicious. This is known as a false positive.
There are a few things you can do to verify that LinkedIn is not an actual threat and restore access:
Update AVG to the latest version. AVG is constantly updating its virus and malware database, so it's possible that the latest version of AVG will be able to detect LinkedIn correctly. To update AVG, open the software and go to Help > Check for Updates.
Add LinkedIn to the AVG exception list. This will tell AVG to ignore LinkedIn and allow it to run. To do this, open AVG Internet Security and go to Settings > Components > Exceptions. Then, click Add Exception and enter "linkedin.com" into the field.
Try accessing LinkedIn from a different browser. This will help to rule out the possibility that the problem is caused by your browser.
Contact AVG support. If you're still having trouble, you can contact AVG support for help. They may be able to help you troubleshoot the problem or provide you with a workaround.
Here are some additional tips:
Make sure that you're visiting the official LinkedIn website.
Avoid clicking on links in emails or social media posts that claim to be from LinkedIn.
Keep your browser and operating system up to date with the latest security patches.
I hope this helps!
