Cannot find the file. Sorry, but I am not an expert at this kind of stuff. I did a Offline Windows Defender scan which showed no threats or maybe automaticaly removed by Defender. Did a AVG Deep Scan again, and checked the report which I am attaching. Is the Freeware "Anymusic" [decompression bomb file] a threat to my laptop. How can I get rid of it? Why does it keep showing up even after I have uninstalled? Tks.
Hello Avinash. Could not find the files mention. I decided to Reset Windows. Wanted to Restore but AVG TuneUp deleted all the Restore files except the latest which would have been pointless since this same problem will still be there. Anyway Thanks for your help.
Hello. After running Deep Scan a few times, the infected file still shows up on the msg area. If it has been removed, why not moved to vault? Is the infected file removed or still around? I wish to upload the screenshot but when I click on the mountain image, the link is for URL. Tks.
Tks for the quick reply Avinash. My main question "Is this file still around" and "how to get rid of it?"
There must be some leftovers of the application in C drive.
Please go to the locations mentioned in the report and try to delete the files manually.
