Urgent help needed, Following a scan on my Samsung flip 4 today, Malware has been detected with the message "Phone and Messaging Storage contains malicious code. Remove it now. Detection ID:-b00255005f7c." When I press the green resolve button phone goes to the next page which shows a "Phone and Messaging Storage' App with logo which is' installed'. The instruction pops up to 'double tap disable to resolve this threat' However there is no way to tap disable sign (it doesnt work). All I have been able to do is press the 'force stop'
How can I disable the app ? (it is hidden on the phone, it doesn't not appear on my home screen)/ Also does force stopping the app stop the malware from working ? I have not idea if I have stopped the malicious code from being active. Its an urgent issue I have discovered tonight and am very concerned as I mistakenly pressed a suspicious link today ! yr immediate response would be appreciated. The apps gives permissions for Contacts and sms, is "set as default' in other apps and used 22MB in internal storage
