Okay so if you think that's the only issue, why does a Microsoft scan keep telling me a malware was only partly removed, and whenever I boot up the same "computer is repairing" a certain file or sector still appears?

It is not possible to install and use AVG Antivirus program when you have a 3 rd party Antivirus/Malware program installed on your PC.
Please make sure that you don't have any other Antivirus/Malware programs installed on your PC before starting the installation for AVG Antivirus program.
Once you remove the 3rd party software, please refer to this article to remove the AVG application and its traces using AVG clear and remover tool then perform the re installation.

It's not possible to debit the amount from your account once the password is changed. Make sure that you do not have any auto renewal transactions enabled on your account.
Hi I'm actually still geting fraudulent attempts on my bank accounts even though I've changed my passwords.
i am now in safe mode. I have been able to remove a lot of the damage via antimalware but wheneve i try to reinstall avg it always fails. It looks like it is working but then the installation bar disappears and im unable to open it manually even though there is a folder on the system
please help!
Ok I've completed it, but I did it from safe mode. I have rebooted into non-safe mode as per instructions.

They did it via paypal, which they didn't hit before. THey must have gotten my info in bulk before I changed bank account passwords but didn't think to change PP ones. They are still hitting me. Running more scans today turned up more malware when I'd previously been clean

"computer is repairing" issue seems to be related to Windows program and we request you to contact Microsoft support to get this issue fixed.
