I've had AVG Ultimate and PC Tune-up since before I got this computer last Christmas.  A few weeks ago I had an issue and AVG did a free scan and said I needed the malware or virus (can't remember which removal service.  Then she took me to a web page that offered the service.  I told her I couldn't afford it till the 14th and she said she would put me on a call-back for the 14th.  Where I am- it's now 5: 15.  Early this morning I got the $79 plan and have been awaiting a call.  Since it is now after 5 PM I began to wander if I was supposed to receive this call by a certain time?  I've been holding to the email to activate this service as soon as I received the call.  I really need to know- am I going to get a call back and if so by what time?  I was hoping to get this cleared up, and have been avoiding getting involved in too much that would occupy my machine so that I could be ready for someone to go into it.  Please let me know ASAP- stephen.henderson@att.net

Thank you.  Someone finally went into it and said they found no problem.  They said the call must have been from AVG GO.  Anyway- I don't remember the number- it was provided by the AVG Support site.  I don't know the difference between AVG and AVG GO, but I went to AVG.com- the official site- not another site offering AVG.  So as near as I can tell, AVG had me spend the money for nothing.  Is AVG Go a part of AVG, because I never heard, but the site that I went to was AVG.  Had the same offers, same log in area, etc.

Hello Stephen,
We regret for the inconvenience caused. Since you have mentioned that you have contacted AVG GO we wish to keep you informed that AVG GO is our premium support service who deals with any issues on both  hardware and software. Could you please confirm whether your issue has been fixed by AVG Go? If you have purchased this premium service please get connect tech support  http://www.avg.com/us-en/avg-go-tech-support to resolve the issue. Your patience is much appreciated. Thank you.

Why apply for the refund?  I don't understand why one person goes in remotely and says that I need to purchase something more, so I purchase something more, and they tell me there is nothing wrong.  Why did they have me purchase it to begin with.  Someone told me something was wrong and I needed more remote service, and even took me to the site to see the options.  I supposed they could fix it in one remote, so why purchase more- but then they say, "We didn't find a problem."  So it appears that the one that sent me to the purchase was either a scam, or the one who said they couldn't find a problem didn't see what the one who had me make the purchase saw.  So one says I have a problem and have to purchase to solve the problem, then I purchase, and they find no problem to solve.  Doesn't that sound a lot like a scam?
