You can run the Malwarebyte scan with AVG enabled, it will not conflict with scan.

Since I am now aware that MalwareBytes Free is an on-demand scanner that does not conflict with AVG Free, should AVG be disabled when MalwareBytes is run or can AVG be left enabled while MalwareBytes is running?

Simon, As per your previous posting (https://support.avg.com/answers?id=906b000000057UJAAY) AVG actually only conflicts with 'paid for' version (http://avgclick.me/ConflictingApps).
