Maninthesky virus

Hi Roger,

We'll help you to get this sorted out. The PC running with Windows 10 may not contain the email attachments, AVG will only move the emails that contains attachments to the quarantine. The threat pop up for simple text emails won't be moved to quarantine.

Please let us know if the incoming email in windows 10 contains any attachments to help you further.

Thanks,
Vishnu Vardan

We have two computers running AVG Internet Security and we use Outlook, one computer is running Windows 7 the other Windows 10.

Both computers persistant repeating pop ups saying the malware had been put into the quarantine file.

I found the email the virus had been attached to and deleted it from Outlook and this sorted out the problem on the computer running windows 7, there were over 100 quarantined files.

However whilst I cannot trace any further reference to the incoming email on the machine running windows 10 the pops still continue saying that the threat has been moved to quarantive, however checking the quarantine file this is empty.
