The recommended steps had no effect - pop-up still occurs on website opened from a web search after bookmark deletion, tab closure, browser closure and browser reopening. Did not work - still get the pop-up. Other websites indicate that it is malware.

Open Edge browser, click on settings and select "Clear browsing data". Check the options which needs to be deleted and click on clear.
This will remove all the cookies from the browser and fix the issue.

Has anyone been experiencing the mapuser pop-up when browsing? It occurs from time to time and asks to Open, Save, or Cancel - if I select Cancel, it says "files are still downloading". I have run several AVG scans - still appears.
As I indicated 2 steps ago, resetting / clearing the browser did not do anything, the message still occurs. Is this malware?
Temp files cleared (as many as windows would allow under 'temp' '%temp%' and 'prefetch' directories in Windows 10. Browser cleared (assuming thats the same as a reset). Restarted PC. Problem still exists - pop up still occurs.

This doesn't seems to be a malware.
Please let me know if you are trying to open this website from a bookmark or from web search.
If it is from bookmark, then please delete this bookmark and try to open from the web search.
If the issue persists, please close all the tabs from your browser, then open a new tab. Close and reopen your browser, check if that fix the issue.
