Since upgrading to AVG2017, whenever I run this emulator, any App run within the emulator runs extremely slowly.

If I uninstall AVG then the emulator runs fine again.

Re-installing AVG the slowdown happens again.  I have tried adding the program path to the exclusions but this makes no difference to the performance, it is still very slow.

Please advise.

This is a Windows program.  It is an Android emulator running through a VM.
