After installing AVG with full protection I have been unable to open any documents that require Office Home & Student. These include excel sheets , word documents which all result in a dialogue box appearing telling me something went wrong. Even going on line it does not appear to allow a repair .Is there something I need to do to fix this or will it only work again if I uninstall the AVG protection?

Do you face this issue after optimizing your PC using AVG Tune Up? If yes, follow the below steps to undo the changes in AVG TuneUp and check the status.
1.) Open AVG Tune Up interface.
2.) Click on 'Speed Up' and select 'Background and startup programs'.
3.) Select on the program which are sleeping.
4.) Click on wake up for Microsoft Office.
5.) On the right side of the interface, click on reverse arrow symbol and click on undo.
