Microsoft Outlook Not Receiving when AVG Active

We are sorry to hear that. We suggest you to change the firewall network profile from "Public" to "Private" and check if that fixes the issue. To change this settings, please open the AVG Internet Security and click on Menu>Settings>Components>Firewall>Customize>Network profile.

Hi, I have AVG Ultimate and until now have not had any problems. I recently got a new laptop and since then I have had issues with Microsoft Outlook 2016 not syncing my email accounts. I discovered that if I turn off AVG and relaunch outlook I am able to receive emails like normal but as soon as I turn AVG back on Outlook no longer works. My new computer is Windows 10, the same as my old one. I still have the old one and it does not have the same problem. I looked at the AVG version number and they are both the same and I also tried to go through the settings to make them identical but it doesn't seem to work. I have uninstalled and reinstalled AVG (and Outlook numerous times before I realized the correlation between it and AVG being on) which didn't help either. Is there anything else I should try in order to resolve this? If I can't find a solution I will have to find another program unfortunately since I use Outlook all the time. Thanks!
