I received a pop up while on my computer that did look exactly like the Microsoft logo. It said that my computer had been compromised and that I had a virus. There was a phone number provided which was 1 (877) 910-4519. I called and had difficulty understanding the person on the line. I explained that I was NOT comfortable with letting him have remote access to my computer to fix the problem they claim not exists. I told the individual that I have AVG protection and decided to hang up and just restart my computer. Can someone please help me determine if I did the right thing?
