Sorry for the inconvenience caused. Did you upgrade your operating system to the latest version recently?
Did you have any previous version of AVG program installed already on your PC?
No I haven't upgraded. I found that when i installed the full AVG it blocked my interenet via the firewall which I switched off. Then I seemed to have other problems so tried to uninstall the full version temporarily and installed the free one to keep me covered then decided to try again with the full version as it is paid for. Perhaps I did this the wrong way but I seem to be caught in a loop now of trying uninstall both avg 2015 and the original free version. Prior to this I had Mcaffee which came with the computer. I have used the avg uninstaller but doing a search I found still 6 items on my pc
