Missing Icon after upgrade to Windows 10

Sorry to hear that. In this case I would request you to uninstall and reinstall the AVG using AVG remover tool please follow the below mentioned instructions:

1) First step is to use AVG Remover tool and uninstall your AVG program completely. To download AVG Remover Tool please click on the following link: http://www.avg.com/filedir/util/TuneUp_Remover.exe
2) Run the downloaded tool and follow the instructions displayed on your screen.

I recently upgraded to Windows 10 x64 and now my AVG Tray Icon is missing it is working because it is scanning emails, I tried uninstalling and then reinstalling still no Icon.

The only way i can get the icon to show is to open the UI then close it then the icon will stay.

I am not sure if this is a known issue or not? any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Version I am using is 216.07134

  1. Your computer will be restarted automatically. After the restart, AVG Remover will finish the uninstallation.
    NOTE: Once the AVG Remover Tool has done with its process. Please go to the drive where you installed this tool and look for a folder named as "AVG Remover" and I request you to delete it manually.

    After uninstalling please reinstall the AVG and Please feel free to contact us again should you need any further assistance.
