Mobile Security

Today I received a mail message from AVG:

"Met trots kondigen wij een interessante nieuwe app aan voor de AVG-familie: AVG Mobile Security voor iOS! Onze wereldberoemde mobiele bescherming is er voortaan ook voor Android- en Apple-apparaten. Dus wat u ook gebruikt: u kunt uw gegevens en uw onlineactiviteiten overal beschermen. ....... "U wilt uw Android- of Apple-apparaat graag beveiligen? U hoeft alleen maar op onderstaande knop te klikken. Dan wordt uw mobiele apparaat helemaal gratis beveiligd."

Translation: "With pride we announce a new and interesting app to the AVG -family: AVG Mobile Security for iOS! Our worldfamous mobile protection is now available for Android- and Apple-devices. Whatever you are using: You are able to protect all your data and online activities anywhere. ........"So you would like to secure your Android- or Apple device? All you have to do is click the button. You mobile device will be secured free of charge."

After I had downloaded the app it turned out to be a 14 day free trial. After that I would be charged for a subscription. However, after having been a regular customer for over 10 years I presumed that I was able to secure up to 5 devices within my subscription. Can anyone explain why I should be charged for mobile security? I have three devices linked to AVG so far.
