Mobilisation not accepting my password

I have locked my phone that I have passed on to my son. Attempted to get on to Avg mobilisation to release the phone lock. I had forgotten my password and re set it so I know it to be correct…and it allows me on here, it is not being recognised by mobilisation and I now cannot get access to unlock a phone…any ideas?
