I have the same problem. I took the AGV trail, and AVG was supposed to warn me in the advance of the trail period ending. Which they never did, which makes sense, since a thief never warns you that he is about to steal. He waits to catch you off guard.
Then AVG tried to take money from my account, but luckily their debit order failed. I immediately tried to cancel this subscription but I couldn't find the option anywhere. Which I am sure they purposefully made difficult to find. I removed AVG from my system, and I cited their attempt to steal my money as one of the reasons for uninstalling.
Yet today they tried AGAIN to steal from me. Their rubbish software isn't on my system anymore, yet they are trying to steal from me as they do so often, judging from the massive number of people complaining about this very same thing. And still I can't find any way to speak to someone to get this resolved.
If this is not resolved, and money gets taken from me, I will visit their offices and take the value stolen from me from someone's flesh!!!

I logged into my account here to find i have been automatically renewed for a subscription without my knowing (no emails stating I was going to renew automatically) and the sum of money I was charged considerably lower than the amount that was actually taken from my bank and the dates different too by a few months. What the hell is going on?
I want an answer and my money refunded to me as I didn't need or want this subscription. I dont even have a PC anymore!

This isn't the experience we want you to have. We'd like to look into this & help you.
From your message, it is obvious that you're upset. It seems that the subscription is under your old/alternate account.
Hence, you're unable to locate it & cancel. Usually, we do send pre-billing notiifcation prior 45 or 60 days of subscription's expiry.
This notification would be triggered to the registered email address. You can be rest assured that this isn't an unauthorized charge.
