If the issue persists, open AVG Internet Security, click on "Menu->Settings->Components->Firewall->Customize->click on "Network Profile(Left side of the interface) and change the profile to "Private" if selected in "Public".

I noticed that I had to turn off my VPN in order to send out an email since it was always timing out. I attempted to follow this article   | AVG
but no success. Contacted my ISP provider but they could not help me. Any suggestions?

Hello, Karthikeyan,
Tried your suggestion snd even with the location change I timed out. Tried your second suggestion and I even set the "unidentified" network to "private" and it still did not work. I would appreciate any further suggestions you may have.
