Hello Noud,

We will check this for you.

Please share the screenshot http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot of the new network created on your computer.

Are you using AVG Secure VPN or a different VPN service?

If you suspect AVG protection is causing this issue, please disable AVG temporarily on your computer and check if that fix the issue.

To disable AVG temporarily, please right click on the AVG icon present at the bottom right corner of your desktop(System Tray) and use the slider to "Disable Protection".

Running win 10 1809
using a VPN service
Trying to connect to a MS wireless display adapter.
Did use the configurations as discribed in the community.
This used to work, but after the last upgrades of AVG and/or Windows nothing works
Every time I try to connect there seems to be a new network with a different name.

Does anyone have a sollution

Hi Noud,

Did you try connecting MS wireless display adapter by turning off the VPN and keeping the Firewall active?
I would also like to know if you have the latest 19.3 AVG version installed?

Hello Karthikeyan

Hello Karthikeyan,

  1. In the attachment you'll find the screenshot
  2. I'm using NordVPN as my VPN-service
  3. I several times cand hecked if disabeling AVG-firewall made the connection possible. Each time I disabled yhe firewall (even with VPN-service live) I could connect through my MS wireless display adapter, the second I enabled the AVG-firewall again the connection stopped.
