Karthikeyan, thanks. But how long before we get a solution? Do you need more error logs? How do we provide them? How can we help you to help us?
Hello Arthur,
I understand your concern. Could you let me know the exact location of this files (msfeedssync.exe)?
If you have created an exception for this files then, you can go to AVG protection > Menu > Settings > general > exception > look for the file location (you can also check AVG > Menu > quarantine page). If possible, please share a screenshot of the exception page "with the location details" or AVG detection with "See details" page.
You can post the screenshot here on your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
Best regards,
Alok.

Dear AVG.
As far as I can tell, msfeedssunc.exe is just part of windows 10 used by Internet Explorer (which I only use if Chrome won't work for a particular site). So, I do not think I actually use RSS feeds.
This morning, AVG reported
THREAT BLOCKED
We have blocked the threat msfeedssync.exe from harming your computer.
What would you like to do.
I selected CREATE EXCEPTION
and AVG has been 'Creating exception' for the last hour!
Should I just force a reboot?
Same problem here.
Threat name: IDP:Generic
Process: C:\Windows\System32\msfeedsync.exe
Detected by: Behavior Shield
Status: Moving to Quarantine… which never completes.
First experienced after the Win10 update today (11-04-1918 (OS Build 16299.309)
Note: the file msfeedsync.exe does not exist in the system folder C:\Windows\System32
I've got the same issue
Same for me!
So I rebooted and immediately AVG wanted to update; so I allowed that and it rebooted again.
Now it seems to have sorted itself out and quarantine is empty.
Same problem here. Please advise asap on what to do next.
