Hi,

I had a new update on windows10 after which my avg stopped working and is giving the error MSVCP110.dll missing. I tried the solutions mentioned in this thread https://support.avg.com/answers?id=906b0000000DA0pAAG
 including unistalling with the remover tool and when i reinstall it gives out an installation error after i get the same message missing dll message.

Any help would be appreciated

Hello Kim,

Have you tried using our AVG remover tool once?
Do you have any other third party antivirus installed on your PC?
Do you still get as 0xC0070643 Description: event Exec finished error even after using AVG remover tool?

Unfortunately, installing the C++ update didnt solve the issue.

Installation failed
Error code: 0xC0070643
Description: Event exec_finished
