Thank you Karthikeyan.  When I go to that page, I hit download and then it asks me to select which one of 3 that I need.  Do I select the 64 bit option? These are the options to choose from: 
VSU_4\vcredist_x64.exe, 
VSU_4\vcredist_x86.exe   or   VSU4\vcredist_arm.exe.

I did a Windows update on July 29th. After it was finished and computer had restarted, I got a message on my desktop saying "Program can't start because MSVCR110.dll is missing from your computer.  Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem"  Something happened during the update for this to happen.  Now my AVG Internet Security won't work, as apparently, I also need the file for AVG, too.  Can someone please direct me to the site where I can reinstall it? I have found some info, but I get an option of downloading 3 options.  Not sure which one I have to download or if I am supposed to only pick one of the "Visual" files. My AVG has been on hold until I get an answer and I thought since I need it to run AVG, I should be able to get an answer here.  Thanks

Hello Janice,
We apologize for the inconvenience.
This problem is caused by Visual C++ Redistributables. It is either missing or corrupted.
It is necessary to reinstall MSVC package from the website: http://www.microsoft.com/en-au/download/details.aspx?id=30679. This link downloads the exact file that is required for the AVG program to work.
Please let us know if the issue gets resolved after this step

Sorry, options for the download were to uninstall or repair.  I clicked on repair? Should I have done that?

Select VSU_4\vcredist_x86.exe and install the same.

Hello Janice,
Generally we suggest to uninstall the old files and then reinstalll the redistributable files. As you have repaired the existing file, please go ahead and check if that fix the issue.
