Multiple copies of the same emails

I'm getting multiple copies of the same emails in Outlook 2016. This started very recently. Is there a setting in AVG that might solve this problem?

We are sorry to hear that. Could you please let us know the exact AVG program installed on your PC and also please let check whether the AVG program is set to scan the incoming emails by following the instructions provided below :
1. Open AVG program.
2. Click on Options -> Advanced settings.
3. Click on the "+" button before the  Email Protection.
4. Select Email Scanner.
5. Check whether "Check Incoming Email" is enabled. If not please tick the checkbox.
6. Click OK to save changes.
