My account says I have not purchased the protection

I have just paid £22.49 to upgrade my virus protection.  I used one email address to which the invoice has been sent and another to set up my 'My AVG' account.  Now when I log in to my account it says I have no purchase history and basically no protection.  When I tried to change my contact email address to the original one I'd used it said that I couldn't as that email address was already on the system.  I cannot view my purchases or see what's happening.  What can I do?
