My AVG antivirus program is not allowing me to send attachments via email

Hello Gary. Thank you for the reply. Are you disabling AVG completely or is it working when a single component of AVG was disabled?

Hello Gary. Sorry to heart about the inconvenience caused. Do you receive any error message from AVG when you try to add attachments or send the emails with an attachment? If you do, could you please share the exact error message to help us diagnose the issue?

Avinash - thank you for your reply - no error message.  I just tried to reply to an email now and when I clicked to insert an attachment the program 'hung up' on me - the only way I can get out of the screen when that happens is to restart my Windowns Live Mail.  If I go into my AVG program and disable my the Antivirus protection I have no trouble sending emails with attachment or inserting photos.    Gary

Hi - just recently - within the past few weeks my AVG antivirus program is not allowing me to send attachments or photos via my Windows Live Mail.  My operating system is Windows 8.1 and I'm using a new (6 months old) Toshiba laptop.  Is there a setting within the AVG software that I can change to fix this problem?   Thank you,   Gary
