My avg is not working. You are not protected

Are you using AVG Antivirus Free? Have you used AVG Clear and remover tool to uninstall AVG with its traces?

I have a problem with my avg. It says You are not protected, computer protection is turned off. When i try to press the FIX NOW button nothing happens. This is also interupting my windows defender. I have tried to reinstall it and repair it but it doesn't seem to work.
