My avg prevents me from accessing a specific website that i use often

Are you sure that the website is safe and secure? Is AVG detecting that website as a threat when you load it?
If the website just does not load, please add it to AVG's exceptions list as suggested in this article.

is there a way to tell my avg protection to allow a specific https:// website to pass thru  . if I uninstall my avg internet security I can get to the website no problem. when AVG is re-installed IT BLOCKS my connection to this website. I KNOW ITS SOMETHING IN THE AVG PROTECTION SOFTWARE doing the blocking because i can always get to this https://website with AVG un-installed. By the way , just temporarily disabling AVG for 10 minutes doesn't work either, i'm still blocked. i have to uninstall it to get to this specific website and then there is no problem. CAN I TELL MY SOFTWARE TO ALLOW THIS 1 SPECIFIC WEBSITE TO GET THRU.
