My AVG Secure VPN will not allow me to open it. Why is this happening and how can I remedy the problem?

I understand the inconvenience.
Please follow below mentioned steps to restart the "AVG Secure VPN" service:
1) Open windows services by pressing windows and R keys together on your keyboard.
2) Type as "services.msc" without quotes and press Enter.
3) From the list of services check for "AVG Secure VPN" and right click on it.
4) Select "Restart" or "Start" option which is highlighted.
Open AVG user interface and click on secure VPN to check whether it works.
