My AVG Tune Up asks to update

I  rang  AVG  and they checked my computer and said it was full of malware and Trojans. I agreed for them to fix it and $200 later they tell me all is OK, so I will have to wait and see I suppose.Bloody rip off, They installed a Malwares program for life they say and 12 mths free 24/7 help

AVG asks to update my program, AVG Tune Up, I agree, it carries on. When it comes back it has a sign- " sorry we were unable to update your program".What do I do to fix it please?.
