My AVG won't scan

Linda, For your info, just in case that you are unaware, you can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

My AVG won't scan my computer.  It keeps asking me for a password and won't except the password.  I followed directions to change my password and I can sign into my account but still can't scan my computer.  Any suggestions???
