My AVG's pop-up window was broken. It became text UI from graphic UI. What should I do?

It's non-UEFI mode Windows 8.1 pro x64, and AVG Internet Security 2015… but the same problem was in the 2014 version.

So it's not a UEFI issue. Mine is also Windows 8.1 Pro with Media Center x64. Is it Win8.1 causing the problem? T.T

I experienced that problem in AVG Internet Security 2014. Now, in the 2015 version, I get totally no pop-ups at all! This is annoying. If I get frustrated I will go back using Windows Defender. Does your Windows 8 runs in UEFI mode?
