My email address is invalid even though I've signed up with my alt account

I'm trying to cancel my subscription before the renewal date which is on the 11th of July but I can't get access to my account as it says it's not valid.  I tried resetting my password with that account and it still says it's not valid so I can't get access to it whatsoever (I have signed up with them on my alt account as I get emails from them)

We'd be glad to help.
We see that your AVG MyAccount registered with (d****999@hotmail.co.uk) is not active and you need to activate it using the link in the activation e-mail which we sent. If the e-mail is not found in your inbox, do check it in spam/junk folders as well.
We have cancelled auto-renewal of your AVG TuneUp Unlimited trial order and you will not be charged in future.
