Hello Rod,
I am sorry to hear this.
As far as my knowledge, this kind of behavior occurs, when users accidentally clicked on a link of a spam email or advertisement.
I request you to change your email account password immediately.
Inform all of your contacts through email saying as not to click on any of the weird email links that they receive from your email address.
Check whether you have AVG Anti-spam feature installed which will help to stop the spam emails.
To check, open AVG Internet Security, click on "Menu–>Settings–>Components".
Delete all of the spam emails on your email account and try to reconfigure your Outlook.
I have both AVG Internet Security and AVG Tune-up on my PC. Both are current. I thought I was protected, but I guess not! My email address was used by scammers with a request "do me a favor" sent to my entire address book. The scammer used my email address, but requested reply to "Mrconstantt@outllook.com" I don't have an Outlook account and the scammer used an extra "t" on the end of the ID. Any recommendations on what to do?
