My laptop crashes everytime

I did not used the McAfee removal tool. Now it's too late, because I removed it from the beginning. In the beginning of the problems I also got a blue screen with the text: DPC WATCHDOG VIOLATION. But after a few times it did'nt show up again. Is this information useful ?

I have exactly the same issue. Any solutions available already?

Chris, Did you use the McAfee total removal tool?.. Have a look @ this new form link (http://support.avg.com/support_contact_form) to get chat or phone support. First of all I apologize for my bad English, but since I am Belgian it’s obvious that English isn’t my native language.
 
What’s the problem? Well, today I bought online AVG internet security 2015 + AVG PC tune up for my brand new laptop (a Medion laptop with Windows 8.1). 
First I uninstalled a trial version of Mac Afee antivirus that was programmed on my laptop. Then I installed AVG. Everything was going fine and the installation was accomplished. Then the problems began: as soon as I was asked to go to the internet for updates, I went to the internet and 10 – 15  seconds later the computer blocked. Nothing worked, the screen was frozen; the cursor didn’t work etc. I tried a couple of things, but nothing worked. So I uninstalled AVG. The result: internet worked again and  nothing blocked, everything worked fine. But, of course it’s obvious that this is not the solution. I can’t go to the internet without protection ! So, I installed AVG internet security again, but with the same disastrous result: everything blocked as soon as I went to the internet! I did these handlings a couple of time over and over, but always with the same result… AVG PC Tune up however is working fine. The problem is internet security 2015. I’ve paid almost 50 euro for this program and I want it to work fine ! So please, can you help me solve this uncomfortable problem?
I have also another laptop with Windows Vista, also with AVG Internet security and AVG PC Tune up. I never had any problems with these installation.
