My monthly AVG Security Report

Hello Linda,

I understand your concern. I see from your record that the case is still with the senior team. I have changed the case priority high, the senior team will check your case first and contact you via email with the necessary information. Your patience is much appreciated.

Hello,

On Windows 7… Computer>Local Disc(C)>Program Files (x86)>AVG>Antivirus>avBugReport.exe 31/8/2017 Application.

Is this correct method to do it?  If so, why won't the 'BugReport' open when i double-click on it please? Is there another way to find information on the Infection i told you about in my original post?

Linda, Screenshot… I think that you've clicking on the 'Link' [chain symbol] instead of the 'Image' [mountain symbol].

Linda, all files detected by Web Shield remove is not even saved to the computer. If you want to know more details about this, we need log files from your computer. I have sent you an email instruction to collect the diagnostic information, please follow it.

Thank you for sending us the logs files. We have successfully received the log files and have escalated your request to the senior team. They will analyse this log files and contact you via email with a solution. We appreciate your time and co-operation.

Hello,

I am attaching a Screenshot of my monthly AVG Security Report.  Under the section WebShield Analysis it says '1 Infection Found'.
1.-  Has this infection been healed
2.-  Where can I find details of what the infection was etc. as clicking on it does not reveal anything.

Sorry but I've tried to do a screenshot via the mountain graphic  to send with this post but get a box asking me for an URL instead???

On following your instructions and getting to AntiVirus>Report I am faced with the following screenshot.  Please tell me what i need to click on from the list shown:-

Linda,

I appreciate your efforts and patience so far. You can generate report file and check the files only in this location "C:\ProgramData\AVG\Antivirus\report". For more details, please refer this article AVG Antivirus: Scan Settings

Why is your answer this time completely different?  Also why did Alok, Karthikeyan and Balasubramanian advised me that i can find info on the 'infection' via  C:/ProgramData/AVG/Antivirus/report?

Hello Linda,
The folder you have opened is for AVG scan reports, you can open WebShield.text to see the infection details (as you wanted to see). You can check other scan reports also, if you want to see the AVG scan reports for their different shields.
Best regards,
Alok.

This is just completely RIDICULOUS!!!..i have once again followed your instructions and 'opened WebShield.text but DO NOT SEE ANY DETAILS OF THE INFECTION. Once again, i send a screenshot, this time showing the page which appears after double-clicking on WebShield.text.

Hello Linda,
Thank you for providing screenshot, I see that AVG Web shield has been detected/found a threat, which already been resolved/healed. You can check this reports here : C:\ProgramData\AVG\Antivirus\report.
Best regards,
Alok.

Logs have now been sent so i await your reply with the information on this threat please.

Linda, actually you have to access your C:\ drive and then get into "Program Data" folder and then to "AVG\Antivirus" and finally to "Report" folder.

Thanks Alok for the link but it takes me to a 'blank page' so i cannot check the report.

I attach a screenshot taken after i click on 'Computer'.  Where do i go from here because i cannot find the location you are indicating to me (and also the article link goes nowhere!)
