My phone is locked due to is saying the SIM has been swapped

Hi, I am having the exact same issue with my phone. except my phone was registered on the avgmobilation website yet it refused to unlock or reset my password saying that my phone could not be located, yet my phone was recieving emails and messages with 4g network. In my fustration i removed my phone from my account and now cannot do anything!! i cant believe i had a free antivirus service, then when i pay for it i get this is what happens.

This really isn't good enough. If I hadn't purchased the upgrade then I wouldn't be having this problem. AVG took my money but it would seem did not register my device so as a conequence I am unable to get online help and now have to wait around for them to contact me. 
I appreciate that support may not be 24/7 but will this mean I have to wait until Monday for assistance and it isn't helped by the fact the emails are all 'noreply' resonses so how can I have a 2 way conversation with a support officer?

If that doesn't help then please click on the following link http://bit.ly/1EC8H4H and fill out your details, select as android then the name of AVG Program that you installed in your mobile and in description explain about your issue completely and finally click on Email option. Our AVG mobile team will reply back to you via email with a resolution.

My phone had to be restarted following an update but the phone is saying the SIM has been swapped but it hasn't. Furthermore the password does not work and it has taken 3 photos but there is no option to confirm that it is me and please unlock my phone.
I've sent an email but have no idea when I am likely to hear from the support centre, they sent an email saying someone will be touch - but not 'when' that will be

Hi Matthew,

In this case, when your device was removed from the account, it will be necessary to wipe/factory reset your device to unlock it. The registration can't be recovered.

Did you try login using AVG MyAccount to remote management?
Users tend to choose Gmail because it is their mail provider, but they registered phone with AVG MyAccount.
