My virus definitions are out of date on AVG Internet Security

Hi Lane,

I appreciate your efforts. You have AVG Internet Security for 3 computers which will get activated using your license number.

Click on AVG Internet Security Unlimited to initiate the installation. Open AVG Internet Security -> My AVG -> My Subscription -> enter your license number to activate paid version. Do you need your license number to activate it?

My virus definitions are out of date on AVG Internet Security.  When I click update now, the last encounter message states setup is already running.

I have tried shutting down the computer and continue to get the same message.

I have tried the AVG remover and the AVG Internet Security does not appear to remove.

When I go out to a link provided in answer to this exact question posted by  Karen Griswold  and
answered by  Ranjani Bakthavachalam (Avast)  http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-troubleshoot-issues-after-upgrade-to-the-latest-AVG-antivirus-product    there are 2 options for re-installation. I do not know which I have, the unlimited or ultimate, I have looked in the info (about) but it only states AVG Internet Security. Any help on this?
