Please make sure that you have activated your AVG Secure VPN successfully as explained in this article. Did you try changing the location and turn ON AVG Secure VPN? If you receive any error message, please share the screenshot of the same and the operating system of your device.

my VPN will turn off by itself, either when i'm off line or online i get no warning unless i check. This is not what i expected. I didn't realize this defect in the software until many months after i purchased it. Not a happy camper.
