Mysterious Threat

Thanks for your reply Kishore.  When this problem occurs I can enable the Identity component again without any difficulty and during the day it remains enabled.  However, in the evening the problem comes back, the Identity component is suddenly disabled and the heavy transfer of data starts.  I intend leaving the laptop running this evening with just the AVG page on the screen so I can catch exactly what time it occurs.  If nothing else this will allow me to be prepared for the onslaught in the future.  It seems to happen about 10 to 11 pm NZ time.

Hello Jack. I am sorry to hear that.  I kindly request you to have a look at this article http://avgread.me/1guEXlJ to enable the Identity component on your AVG program. Please feel free to contact us for further assistance. Thank you.

I followed the instructions to repair the Identity Protect feature and have been monitoring the laptop over the past few evenings.  No more problems so it looks like it's fixed.  Many thanks for your help.

I seem to have recently acquired a mysterious threat on my laptop (running Windows 7).  When I use it online in the evening, the Identity Protected feature of AVG suddenly becomes disabled and the laptop starts up/downloading large amounts of data.  I have done a full computer scan but no threats were detected.  Any suggestions?
