Need help with avg

Hello Andrea,
We regret the inconvenience caused. We would request you to remove previously installed AVG program traces from your system using AVG Remover tool and then try to reinstall AVG AVG Anti virus.
Note:If you have installed any other Antivirus  programs like AVAST, NORTON, MCAFEE or KASPERSKY, Please uninstall it first to avoid conflicts when installing AVG.
Once you have uninstalled from your system,try to follow the steps which mentioned below.
Remover and Download:
1) To download AVG remover tool, please click on this link: http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe .
2) Run the downloaded file and follow the onscreen instructions.
3) Restart your PC when the restart option is displayed on the remover tool screen.

We understand your concern. To check if the AVG program in your computer is activated working, please go to this location and check the expiry date.
* Open AVG AntiVirus
* Click on "Support" tab at the top right corner
* check the expiry date from this location
* If it is showing as 4/2/2018 as expiry date, then your AVG AntiVirus is activated and working fine in your computer.

hello I am asking for help because I downloaded windows 10 last night and I had also downloaded the avg anti-virus that I had bought from wal mart but since I reinstalled windows 10 properly it now says my license number is all ready activated. hope I haven't screwed it up ;(

if anyone could help that would be appreciated

4)Once you have logged into your PC after the restart, please go to C:\ drive and delete the "AVG REMOVER" folder manually.
Note : Please use the AVG Remover tool mentioned on the article to uninstall the AVG program more effectively.
Download and install AVG Anti virus: http://files-download.avg.com/inst/mp/AVG_Antivirus_1924.exe .
