Need notification that AVG scan is running

Hello Gary,
We are really sorry that the AVG 2017 version Schedule scan will run in background, it will not notify in System tray AVG icon, however the Zen interface will show the scanning in progress and you can check the scheduled scan reports using the following instructions : Open AVG Zen -> Anti-Virus free -> Scan settings (Near Scan Computer) -> Schedule scan -> Report file -> Select time and generate the report of the scheduled scans.

How do I set AVG (version 17) to visually notify me when a scheduled scan begins on my Windows 10 computer? Older versions displayed a symbol on the AVG icon in the tray to the right of the taskbar.
